We make and try all kinds of delicious things and gain tons of calories whoohoo~
So in this post.. We're going to talk about FOOD! <3
We'll start with one of my favourites.. Baklava~
A sweet sweet Turkisch/Greek delight. (They're still fighting about who came with it first. Ofcourse, I would start a war for it too)
It's just so..sooo..sooo.. oh god it's just so good.
The basics for this delight are nuts, (ultra thin)dough and sirup of sugar or honey. It comes in lots of variations.
It's kinda expensive when you buy it in the stores (well it's not that expensive, but I always want a lot of it so that makes it expensive). That's why I wanted to learn the recipe for myself. After lots of failures, I finally broke the code, thanks to my great teacher Chibi.
Baklava is a nice combination with vanille ice or coffee.
